What is Female ejaculation?

Female ejactulation refers to the release of fluid from the female reproductive system during sexual arousal or orgasm. This phenomenon is often colloquially known as "squirting" or "gushing”. Female ejaculation involves the expulsion of a clear or milky fluid from the urethra or nearby Skeen’s glands, not to be confused with urine.

The exact nature and origin of the fluid expelled during female ejaculation have been the subject of scientific debate and research. Some studies suggest that the fluid may come from the Skene's glands, also known as the female prostate, which are located around the urethra. These glands are thought to produce a fluid that can contribute to female ejaculation.

It's important to note that female ejaculation is a natural variation in sexual response and not all women experience it. The occurrence, amount, and frequency of female ejaculation can vary widely among individuals. Additionally, the sensation and experience associated with female ejaculation may differ from person to person.

Female ejaculation is generally considered a normal and healthy part of sexual expression. However, due to societal attitudes, cultural taboos, and limited scientific research, it has sometimes been misunderstood or stigmatized. Open communication between sexual partners and a positive, non-judgmental attitude can contribute to a more inclusive and understanding perspective on female ejaculation.
