What are you needing right now? Are you able to ask for what you want and need during these turbulent times? For many of us, asking for what we want was a challenge long before this crisis hit, and I imagine this has been exacerbated in recent weeks as past traumas flair up, there is an air of fear and uncertainty, and we are all scrambling to meet the basic needs for the security of ourselves, our families and loved ones. You might be asking yourself, but there is so much need in the world right now, how can I possibly focus on myself?

This is precisely why it is so important that each of us has the tools to fill ourselves up – to ask for what we want and need, which includes finding creative ways to meet our own needs and honoring our boundaries– so that we are resourced enough to lend a helping hand wherever it is needed.

Join us for a juicy, and resourceful on-line workshop where we will ignite our sensory pathways, step into our erotic power, learn essential elements of the wheel of consent and deepen intimacy in our relationships. This workshop is for you.

In this workshop, we will experience:

  • A dance party

  • Full body pleasure practice

We will discover:

  • An introduction to the wheel of consent: walking up the hands –learn a practice that will allow you to “take” pleasure for your own benefit. This somatic practice, created by Dr. Betty Martin, will be an entry point where we can begin noticing how we take in information, sensations and pleasure via our hands!

We will explore:

  • Desire: the different types of desire; your deep yes and enriching desire

  • The importance of receiving – of being able to fill ourselves up.

  • Co-creating conscious relationships and the five love languages.

Logistics:

Workshop is on Zoom from 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm MDT (3:00 -5:30pm PDT), Sunday, May 17, 2020

A large portion of this workshop is experiential. Active participation is highly encouraged. What you put into the workshop; you will get out of the workshop. For the Full Body Pleasure Practice, the only camera that will be on is that of the Facilitator, who will guide you through the practice. Please ensure that you are in a private space/room in which you will not be distracted; wear comfortable clothing and bring a journal and pen. For the “waking up the hands” exercise, please have items available such as a fork, a beater, a pen, a stapler - basically, any items that have soft and hard edges, 1-2 of each. Most of all, be ready to have fun, step into your body and let yourself go! Just say YES!

Registration cost: $35

A secure Zoom link will be provided upon registration.
